OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
HIKING- So much great hiking in the area but these are a few of our favorites.
Cranny Crow Overlook. A lot of great trails in the park but this one is our favorite. An absolute must do.
Seneca Rocks. A beautiful drive south from the Barn to Seneca Rocks and an amazing hike.
DOLLY SODS. a truly unique landscape with a cool history that is definitely worth the visit.

KAYAKING
Tons of great kayaking in the area. The Trough is one of the best local spots. The Trough General Store rents Kayaks.
FISHING
A handful of options to pick from. Kimsey's Run Lake is the closest option. A DNR stocked reservoir. Trout, Bass, and Panfish aplenty.
Parker Hollow Lake and Upper Cove are also DNR stocked.
Great options for Kayak fishing in the South Fork of the Potomac and the Cheat River as well. Please check out a few of the websites below for more info.
